The Tackle Trap has put together a kit that includes the parts you'll need to convert your Daiwa Sol or Alphas to a "clicking" drag star! There are a few technical install notes we'll do our best to explain. Included in this RIGHT HAND kit are: ONE Driveshaft LHD: ONE SV 105 Cast Cap (H68-9203) ONE Leaf Spring Holder (F02-8201) ONE Leaf Spring (F03-2401) ONE Spacer (G69-4201) We are including two spacers in this kit. In our experience, some reels require only one, some require two - it's better to have an extra than need an extra! TECHNICAL NOTES: Installation of a set of Carbontex drag washers is recommended with this upgrade. The Daiwa #1 set is what you'll need and can be found on our website under the "CARBONTEX DRAG WASHERS" tab for $7.99. Swept Drag Star: You will need a swept drag star! You can use any of the following also available on our on our website under "Daiwa Factory Parts" and then under "Drag Stars and Cast Control Caps" tab. Either Steez LHD or PX Type R LHD. We also have several "swept" handle options available as well with a variety of covered handle nuts and nut plates. This drive shaft takes "STEEZ STYLE" handle bolts.
