SHIPPING POLICY INFORMATION

The Tackle Trap offers rapid turnaround and reasonable shipping charges to our customers.  We endeavor to ship your orders if placed by 1PM Eastern Time on the same day. In some instances packages may be delayed due to weather and/or conditions beyond the control of USPS or UPS.  We do offer in-store pick-up if you are in our neighborhood.

Most orders over $75 within the continental U.S. receive free ground shipping. This offer does not include Saturday delivery unless applicable by our chosen carrier. Please note exceptions to the free shipping policy are described below.

Shopify offers amazing technology that allows you to track and manage all of your shipments under the Shop app. We also notify you when your products have been shipped and delivered through this technology. Rest assured if something slips through the cracks, we will contact you right away.

Note: UPS does not deliver to P.O. boxes or APO's. For international shipping or shipments to Alaska or Hawaii, please contact us for an exact quote.

EXCEPTIONS

Due to dimension and weight limitations assessed by our carriers, very heavy packages or packages with large dimensions may be subject to additional shipping charges. Fishing rods with a sales price of less than $149.99 will incur a $20 tube charge to help offset the high cost of shipping rods these days. We cannot ship rods over 7' 11" in length.  All rods are shipped via USPS Ground Advantage with insurance in case of damage during transit.  If a rod arrives broken or damaged, email sales@tackletrap.com with photos of the tube damage, and the damaged rod.  We will work to replace your rod as quickly as possible.  If a limited run or otherwise unique rod is damaged, we cannot guarantee a timely replacement, but will work with you on a satisfactory resolution. 


UPS EXPRESS SERVICES

The Tackle Trap offers our customers 2 day or next day shipping services for an additional fee which is calculated at checkout. Please be advised when choosing UPS Express Services as a shipping option, UPS may require a signature in order to deliver to a residence or a business. If a signature is required and no one is available to sign for the package, UPS will not deliver. We strongly encourage that if you choose UPS Express Services as an option, that someone be available to receive the package. The Tackle Trap will not be responsible for reimbursement of shipping charges if no one is available to receive the package.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

The Tackle Trap ships to our international customers on a case by case basis.  Please email sales@tackletrap.com for more detailed information on international shipping.  Please provide a list of items you'd like to purchase, an address, and phone number for the most quick and accurate quote.

SALES TAX POLICY

All shipments within the state of New York will incur applicable state sales tax. All shipments outside the state of New York may or may not incur a sales tax charge.



BACKORDER POLICY

Because of our integrated inventory control system, unknown out of stock conditions will be minimal resulting in a better level of service and accuracy. On orders where an out of stock situation does occur, we will issue a refund for the item and ship the order as is.
