Maximum Catfishing

Maximum Catfishing

Cindy and Jonathon Herndon work as a team to bring maximum knowledge and maximum excitement to every episode of their show, " Maximum Catfishing".

At the age of 10 months, Jonathon was involved in an accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down. With the hard work of doctors and family he was able to make a partial recovery by age five, but remained paralyzed and in a sports wheelchair. While his friends were playing T-ball and midget football, Jonathon was fishing. He found the water provided a refuge to explore and hone his skills. Thirty-three years later he turned his passion into a career.

For the past ten years Cindy has fished alongside Jonathon in the family business as a trophy catfish guide and has no trouble holding her own when it comes to fighting and landing trophy catfish! During the off season Cindy and Jonathon can be found at boat shows and fishing events across the country sharing their love for the sport giving trophy catfish seminars.

Since the beginning of their careers as professional anglers, Cindy and Jonathon have made it their mission to give back to the community. Regularly visiting local children's hospitals and working with their sponsor resources they share Jonathon's story to inspire children not to "let their physical challenges stop them from chasing their dreams.

Their example shows the children and their parents that while things may need to be adapted to their individual situation dreams can come true with determination and the right support from others.Together Cindy and Jonathon have helped raise over $160,000 for the Children's Hospital of Central Georgia. They always enjoy the look of joy and amazement on the faces of children when they realize that they can do something that they have only dreamed about before.
