SHIPPING POLICY INFORMATION

The Tackle Trap, Inc. offers rapid turnaround and affordable shipping to our customers. Most orders placed before 2:30pm Central Time will be shipped the same day. All orders over $75 within the continental U.S. receive FREE ground shipping. All other ground shipping deliveries are $5 within the Contiguous 48 States. This offer does not include Saturday delivery unless applicable by our chosen carrier.

Note: Fed Ex does not deliver to P.O. boxes or APO's. For international shipping or shipments to Alaska or Hawaii, please contact us for an exact quote.

EXCEPTIONS

Due to dimension and weight limitations assessed by our chosen carriers, very heavy packages or packages with large dimensions may be subject to additional handling surcharges. Fishing rods with a sales price of less than $100 will incur an additional shipping charge. Extremely large or heavy packages that incur an additional handling fee from our chosen carrier may also incur an additional shipping fee.

SHIPPING INSURANCE

The Tackle Trap, Inc. offers our customers the option to add insurance to any items purchased for an additional fee - see below for a fee schedule. The Tackle Trap, Inc. will not be held responsible for the replacement or refund of any items damaged, lost, or stolen during shipping or items verified by our shippers as delivered to either a business or residential address. We strongly suggest that our customers elect to both insure and require a signature for all items purchased from The Tackle Trap, Inc. If a package is damaged, lost, or stolen during shipping, The Tackle Trap, Inc. will support our customers with dated sales receipts and tracking information necessary to file an insurance claim.

FED EX EXPRESS SERVICES

The Tackle Trap, Inc. is happy to offer our customers either 2 day or overnight shipping services for an additional fee. Please be advised when choosing Fed Ex Express Services as a shipping option, Fed Ex may require a signature in order to deliver to a residence or a business. If a signature is required and no one is available to sign for the package, Fed Ex will not deliver. We strongly encourage that if you choose Fed Ex Express Services as an option, that someone be available to receive the package. The Tackle Trap, Inc. will not be responsible for reimbursement of shipping charges if no one is available to receive the package.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

The Tackle Trap ships to our international customers on a case by case basis.  Please email sales@tackletrap.com for more detailed information on international shipping.  Please provide a list of items you'd like to purchase, an address, and phone number for the most quick and accurate quote.



SALES TAX POLICY

All shipments within the state of Alabama will incur applicable state sales tax. All shipments outside the state of Alabama will not incur a sales tax charge.

BACKORDER POLICY

Because of our integrated inventory control system unknown out of stock conditions will be minimal resulting in a higher service level for you, our customer. On orders where an out of stock situation does occur, it is not our policy to automatically create a back order for the item. Please check back on our site in a few days for availability and place another order at that time.

OUR POLICY ON RETURNS

If an item you ordered from The Tackle Trap, Inc. does not meet your expectations, you may return the unopened, unused item(s) within 14 days from the date of purchase. Upon receipt and inspection, the Tackle Trap, Inc. may issue either store credit or a refund MINUS our shipping charges to you even if your item(s) qualified for "free shipping." Please enclose a copy of your invoice, include your email address, phone number, complete credit card information for the card on which the original purchase made, and reason for the return. If you were sent a product that was incorrect or defective from the factory, we will issue a credit for applicable shipping charges. Otherwise, return charges are at the expense of the purchaser.

Credits to your card will be issued once the item is received and restocked. Credits typically appear in one to two billing cycles. Store credit will be noted on your account at The Tackle Trap, Inc. and available for use immediately. All returns and exchanges may be subject to a 10% restocking fee. No exceptions when returning or exchanging rods. We do not accept returns or exchanges of special order items.

OUR POLICY ON EXCHANGES

You have 14 days to exchange any items purchased from The Tackle Trap, Inc. The item must be unopened, undamaged, and unused. The customer is responsible for return shipping to The Tackle Trap, Inc. and the shipping to get the exchanged product back to you. Please ship the item(s) to us at the below address and include a copy of your invoice, email address, phone number, and instructions as to the exchange. Include your complete credit card information to cover price differential in items and shipping. All returns and exchanges may be subject to a 10% restocking fee. No exceptions when returning or exchanging rods. We do not accept returns or exchanges of special order items.
